For years, the Latvian Startup Association has served as the cornerstone of the local startup ecosystem, dedicated to supporting startups by advocating for their interests and furnishing them with essential developmental resources.

Approaching us with a significant endeavor, the association sought to establish a compelling and enduring brand for the inaugural Latvian Startup Awards. We were tasked with the pivotal mission of crafting a robust brand identity that not only captured the essence of the local ecosystem’s evolution and unique characteristics but also resonated with the association’s overarching image.

In addition to this, we faced the challenge of devising an impactful communication strategy within the constraints of the association’s modest budget. Our objective was to generate maximum visibility for the new award, spur participation in the nomination process, and inspire attendance at the ceremony.

Results

Impactful brand

Developed through collaboration with the association, the Latvian Startup Awards brand quickly gained traction within the startup community. In just a month and one event, it established itself as a prominent platform, celebrating the accomplishments and endeavors of startups and founders in Latvia.

1 500 tech scene representatives

actively participated in the voting process, submitting applications and nominating others. This demonstrated a sense of trust in the new brand of Latvian Startup Awards and and peoples belief in brand’s ability to recognise Latvian startups’ achievements.

2 300 attendees

joined the event, both in person and virtually via Facebook LIVE stream. Notably, the event drew the presence of esteemed figures including the Minister of Healthcare and even the President of Latvia.
